Music Monday – “Starting is easy I have found/In planting a seed, you touch the ground/But planting the seed doesn’t make it grow.”

Sad news about the passing of Canadian rocker, Sass Jordan.

Back when I was a teen working in a gas station, the radio station the station’s radio was tuned to played set playlists that repeated on weekend evenings (likely to save on staff costs – fear of automation isn’t new!)

I started to notice that every Sunday evening, right before closing, this song by Sass Jordan always played and I began to connect it with peace (not too busy at the IH Esso Sunday night at 10:30pm) and calm as the sun set and I watched the odd car or semi passing on the nearby #1 highway.

“Stranger Than Paradise” – Sass Jordan
