I believe Ray Bourque scored a similar goal from behind his own goal line. It was against the Hartford Whalers back in his Boston days.The goalie that let in the goal was Peter Sidorkiewicz, who would go on to become the first starting goalie for my beloved Senators…
I'm sure I saw that one back in the day but it's not ringing a bell and I can't find it on YouTube. But yeah, there's always going to be all kinds of fun and funny goals – I even started a thread on MetaFilter on this topic once!
