We bought our house in fall 2019 so have lived here for nearly seven years.
When we moved, we got a dumpster and got rid of a lot of excess crap that was old/broken/worn or that we didn’t want to move for one reason or another (as much as I wanted to keep that 1989 Guiness World Book of Records book, Shea convinced me to let it go.).
In the intervening seven years (basically half as long as we lived at our old house which is hard to believe!), we’ve again accumulated a lot of things that have served their purpose/been broken as well as a whole bunch of stuff that was left behind by the previous owners that we’ve never dealt with.
Add in a crappy forecast for the long weekend and we’re doing the dumpster thing again…
