Heading to the airport in the middle of the night as Pace is leaving for a 10 day Educational Foundations (EF) tour through school. Hard to believe the day has arrived!
Kinda funny that his junior numbers weren’t amazing (he’s no Connor Bedard, that’s for sure!) but I suspect it was actually his PIM which helped him go first overall in the 1985 draft in what was a very different era of hockey!
