Saturday Snap – Meeting of the Minds?

Had a really nice visit with my mom before Shea and I leave for Mexico (twice in one winter?!? What???) tomorrow. Off to Puerto Vallarta for a week and it’s a long story but we got a good deal and have been thinking a lot about how all four of our parents quit traveling earlier than they’d probably hoped due to various health complications and we don’t want the same to happen to us (though honestly, I could visit every country on earth and not be satisfied!).

You probably think you know and recognize colours. But in terms of actually remembering them, turns out humans aren’t really great at it.

This site lets you test your ability to remember a specific shade of a random colour by flashing a certain colour for a brief time then asking you to pinpoint it on a colour grid that goes from white to black with every shade in between .

Throwback Thursday – #tbt – Cuba Cuties (March 2011, Jan 2016)

So fortunate to have had multiple trips with both sets of grandparents – our wedding in Mexico and Dominican Republic with all four of them, Cuba separately with each of them different years and various other locations as well – Mexico, Hawaii, etc.

Hard to believe this was 10 years ago…

And this was 15 years ago!
