FTRW 2007 – Day 4 – Can you Say "Scrotum" on the Radio?

For anybody who misses the sound of my voice pontificating away on all manner of stuff, I'll be on local community radio with the “Book Chick” tomorrow at 6pm Sask time (5pm Alberta time, 7pm Ontario time) talking about Freedom to Read Week and some of the related issues.  You can listen live at: www.cjtr.ca

I'm going to see an eye doctor that afternoon so the drops mean a reading from “Behold The Man” like I did for FTRW last year likely won't happen.  But you don't have to read from a book to tell “The Aristrocrats” joke – tune in tomorrow and see!

(The show will be re-broadcast next Wednesday at noon, Sask time if you miss the broadcast tomorrow.)

  1. ah boo. I won't be home to listen…maybe I'll sneak in a pair of earphones to listen to the replay next week :p

  2. When I worked at the SPG and was the fill-in “Book Chick” (I think I was the “Book Dude”) for a few months, we always got a CD burned after each show. Not sure if the show is still under the auspices of the SPG (air time and length of both changed since I was involved) or if Jill's just doing it on her own now. But I do thing she mentioned that she still gets copies of the show and was thinking of doing a podcast. So I might be able to get ahold of today's show and put it up as well.

  3. Hey J,
Will you be able to podcast that interview?
Just a thought for some of us who have to work and wouldn't mind checking it out at another time :p
Let me know if this is possible.
    Cheers,
    Jer

  4. I should have read your earlier comment about the podcast….but if you do…let me know 🙂
