Saturday Snap – Introducing Our New Dog!

Charlie Echo, a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel.

Charlie is his first name and yes, the most obvious name for a King Charles Spaniel (but maybe the only name that could get four-way agreement in the family.)

Echo for a lake near where he was born.

(And if you’re going full Military Alphabet, I guess we could even call him “Charlie Echo Oscar” since I’m sure he’s going to think he’s the “CEO” of our house very quickly!)

[Picture now photoshopped and re-uploaded after my wife noticed that the reason Charlie was sitting so still was he was peeing!!!] 🙂

Bosses Who Mask When In The Presence of Others

This week might have to be a “Leadership” theme…

Leadership

Leadership, both as a research area and as a practical skill, encompasses the ability of an individual, group or organization to “lead”, influence or guide other individuals, teams, or entire organizations.

Music Monday – “You can’t tell me nothing/And I’ve had a lot of drama/’Nuff drama/You can’t tell me nothing/Just look in my eyes, it’s all too clear/But it don’t matter, cause I’m still here”

First heard Dizzee Rascal when I would listen to a Britpop mix on AccuRadio while working at RPL’s Central library many years ago.  Hadn’t thought of him/UK Grime music for years but recently rediscovered the album after going through some YouTube rabbit holes on the weekend…

Saturday Snap – Happy 51st Anniversary To My Mom and Dad

No surprise plane ride like last year for their 50th.

But still had a fun and memorable visit for my parents’ 51st Anniversary last weekend…
