Always interesting to see the things people will donate to the library (some people don’t come in to talk to us, they just slip their items into the return slot overnight so we can find all sorts of surprises!)

I didn’t put a nickel of my own money during our week in Vegas but did a bit on behalf of a friend (lost at both slots and roulette) and won a whopping $4.75 at the airport on $20 my mom wanted me to gamble for her.
We went to Shea’s uncle’s funeral in July 2021 and afterwards, gathered at their farm to visit. The sun was brutally hot so I ended up borrowing a ball cap from Shea’s uncle’s supply and since he didn’t need it anymore, Shea’s aunt let me keep it!
Didn’t think to take it to Vegas during our recent trip but my “READ” hat I got from the Vancouver Public Library got a lot of compliments!
