I admit that between things we need for our new house and the usual Christmas pressure to “buy, buy, buy!”, I had a fairly loaded Amazon cart on the go. But I read this article and just couldn’t do it – I mean, I know most corporations treat workers poorly and do anything in pursuit […]

Throwback Thursday – #tbt – Christmas Traditions (December 2007)
Feeling sentimental knowing we won’t have Christmas here this year, I was looking through my oldest photos for a picture of one of our first Christmases at our current house. Unfortunately, since we bought our house in 2004 and our first digital camera in 2006 (and all our old-school photo albums are in boxes somewhere), […]
Throwback Thursday – #tbt – Christmas Card House (December 2014)
It’s not quite “National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation” level decorating and I really should’ve gotten my butt up a ladder and extended the lights in that cedar tree in the front of our house right to the top. (They also occasionally do a bottle of hard stuff.) There have been some funny […]
Five Topics of The Holidays

So compared to other years where we had the hassle and expense of lining up babysitters if we wanted to go out, this year, […]
Saturday Snap – Elf Helper
Had an elf helping me with the sad job of packing up the tree and decorations and Christmas books for another year…
Throwback Thursday – #tbt – Christmas Over The Years
I whipped together this montage fairly quickly right before Christmas to show everybody on Christmas Eve. It’s not my best work – my first attempt ended up with the music I picked not working properly. Then I tried to use YouTube’s Creative Commons music but couldn’t for the life of me figure out how to […]
