A colleague brought this to work on Friday then got snaps of a bunch of the staff trying it on. I'm a Rider fan but gotta say this was a first for me! (Here's a history of the watermelon helmet from TSN.)

Where Does Daddy Work? Where Does Mommy Work?
It's been a long time since I posted a video clip of Pace. This is his understanding of where his mother and I work:(If you can't make it out, he says daddy works at “library books!” and mommy works at “needles!” )
Music Monday – "Twelve drummers drumming like Olympus on the Serengeti"
One month until Christmas so to help get you in the mood…
Music Monday – "I got chills/They're multiplyin'/And I'm losin' control"
The easiest way to make a cover version sound unique is to slow down a quick song. Dozens of artists use this trick on their own hits and on the hits of others (and some artists seem to specialize using this trick on all kinds of songs). This week, I thought I'd feature a particulary […]

This will possibly be the end of GPS companies such as Garmin and Tom Tom (their stocks have already plummeted since the announcement):Google also announced that soon, any search for a song or band will result in a stream of the song being returned from various partners which will be able to be played in […]
Music Monday – UTwo-be
Is there any other link today than the archive of the live U2 concert that was broadcast on YouTube last night? I haven't seen any final figures yet but some media outlets were reporting that there was likely an audience of hundreds of thousands of viewers watching live around the world and that figure will […]
No Guts, No Glory: The NHL's Gutsiest Performances
I promise I'll stop writing about my poor little hockey boo-boo but I saw this on Reddit and couldn't resist posting it – a video highlighting some of the gutsiest performances from the NHL in 2008-09. (Warning: some potentially disturbing imagery) Of course, the big difference between me breaking my leg then getting up and […]
