RIP Koko

It’s been a month since we lost our cat, Koko, very suddenly. Although she seemed to have lost a bit of weight in the days preceding her death, we chocked this up to her being outside so much in the nice weather.  She had otherwise been fine with no obvious symptoms of illness.  But then, […]

Friday Fun Link – The Nostalgia Machine

The Nostalgia Machine will generate a playlist for the year you were born (or any other year – want to re-live your high school prom?  The year you got married?)

Music Monday – “Adieu Clo-Clo/Goodbye to you my brother/Adieu Clo-Clo/Goodbye to you my brother until the end.”

This song is one of the many things that have been running through my head all day… “Adieu Clo Clo” – Boo Radleys

Friday Fun Link – The Geocities-izer

This web page allows you to make any site look like you designed it in 1998 using GeoCities… (via Reddit)

Throwback Thursday – #tbt – New Computer System @OfficialRPL #yqr (February 2010)

RPL is moving to a new ILS over the coming week which reminded me of the last move we had five years ago…

10 “Must Have” Things I Look For In An All-Inclusive Resort

Shea and I have been on a handful of all-inclusive vacations over the years.  Every place has had its good and bad points but overall, these varied trips to Mexico (Mazatlan, Mayan Riviera, Cancun), Cuba (Varadero) and most recently, the Dominican Republic (Punta Cana), have given me a pretty good idea of some of the things I […]
