I’ve long been an advocate for the importance of being skeptical as a generally useful approach to life. But, as the coronavirus has spread around the world over the past year, it’s also been fascinating (and alarming!) to see how often that line from genuine questioning crosses the line (and often goes completely off the cliff) […]
I know I’ve highlighted the “First We Feast” web show before *including* when they had a different wrestler on. But given that Undertaker is one of the best known wrestlers of all-time, is about to retire this weekend thirty years after his first appearance at the same annual Survivor Series event, and he rarely breaks […]
I’m usually ENFP whenever I take the Myers-Briggs test and this app thinks I’m INTP so half right?

Hastings boils down Netflix’s competitive advantage over Blockbuster […]
When we bought our new house, we also got a much faster Internet connection which is part of the reason I started getting more into smart home devices – Internet-enabled security cameras, multi-coloured LED lights we can control remotely, smart TVs and eventually about half a dozen various Google Nest smart devices placed strategically around […]
Going camping for a couple weeks starting at the end of this week so likely won’t be doing daily posts since the Internet out there is pretty crappy. See you in August!
I’ve always loved quotations and used to even “read” quotation books. Now the web has modernized the idea in the form of quote web sites. There are a few options out there but I recently found out that a library system in Kentucky runs its own “Famous Quotes” web site which is pretty cool!
