Just browsing your site and disappointed there was no Friday Fun to be had yet (yeah I know you're a few time zones away but hey!) and the POOF! there it was — the cookbook was intriguing — being someone who tends toward impatience and high cooking temperatures probably not for me. BUt I had a great laugh from the Netdisaster — you had the chainsaw going but I switched from wasps, then most realistic, to a giant crawling baby that scribbled all over your posts!
My kids thought the best pic of Pace on Shea's Flickr account is when he's eating some delicious information on CLA letterhead — important, Dad? You go, Pace, chew on that information-as-thing!

Good timing! And I didn't even notice the “scribbling baby” option or I probably would've had it set to that. And yeah, Pace loves paper – not for reading yet but for chewing, ripping and otherwise destroying. I mentioned Pace's lack of interest to a woman at a training session the other day and she said her two girls love books and she has to read them a bunch every night. Her boy never did and now he's in remedial classes in school. Yikes!
