  1. There are places in Saskatchewan that are so flat, you can look in your rear-view mirror and see yourself coming up behind you.

  2. Well, that's a shot out the window of a truck looking forward but by your theory, I should be able to see the truck somewhere in the distance ahead of us. Or something. (My head hurts.)

  3. Strange thing is, those of us who live here get claustrophobic elsewhere. Besides, if the rest of you stay away, we get to keep the wicked canoing, fishing and camping of Northern SK to ourselves. 😉

  4. I used to work at an Esso in Indian Head and I'd just laugh at the tourists who'd take the time to comment on the boring, flat landscape they were driving through, knowing that if I took the time to point them fifteen minutes north to the Qu'Appelle Valley, they'd see something as beautiful as pretty much any landscape I've seen in Canada. But I like that a lot of what Saskatchewan has to offer is a secret.
I agree about the claustrophobia elsewhere. I'm making a quick trip to Kelowna BC next week – fun place to visit, don't think I could ever live there!
