Saturday Snap – Farewell to Aunt Sandi

My mom’s sister has returned to Regina from Kelowna to stay with us for a month every spring pretty much every year since Pace was born.  But since mom was diagnosed with dementia, these visits have become a lot more meaningful.

I Stayed at the Mirage For The Last Time

Throwback Thursday – #tbt – Little Kids, Little Problems; Big Kids, Big Problems (April 2013)

When Sasha was born, we had a little baby shower in the Outreach Unit and a couple coworkers who had much older kids shared a piece of wisdom I’ve thought of often: “Little kids, little problems; big kids, big problems.”

Little problems like teething and dirty diapers eventually get replaced by driver’s licenses and love drama and worries about marks for university and so on.

Everyone says it but I wish I’d enjoyed these moments even more…
