
I’m going to try to (roughly) put these in order but it’s a long list and so I may not get it perfect…everybody I’ve reported to at RPL in 17 years, either officially or temporarily when I was between managers (which could often be a fairly long stretch as well.)
I feel lucky as I talked to a former colleague once who said she felt like she had 80% terrible supervisors and 20% good. I feel the opposite – there’s only a handful on this list I thought were terrible and most were decent – just that all had strengths and weaknesses (like everyone.). I won’t identify them but there’s only three I would put in the “Exceptional” category.
