Saturday Snap – Washer Fluid Fill Up Day

Nice that the weather’s finally turned and I can top up all the vehicles that have been using a lot of washer fluid during the melty/crappy/slushy weather the past few weeks…

Throwback Thursday – #tbt – Small Banana (January 2012)

One of my favourite pictures of Pace ever from a trip to Hawaii…

Saturday Snap – Modern Day Prom Jacket

I posted on Thursday about my high school prom. As we prepare for Pace’s this year (uhm, buy your flowers and plants here!) I sometimes wish I could go back and tell that grey-suited, clean-cut young man that the future was going to be a bit more outlandish!

Throwback Thursday – #tbt – From Proms to Nursing Home Moms

Real “circle of life” shit that the classmate I did the Grand March with during our high school graduation (not my prom date – this was when we marched in alphabetically by name which is why there are two guys – Hammond & Hanley – with one girl – Kalk – since guys outnumbered girls […]

Shea and I have done three or four day trips to Isla Mujeres when we’ve stayed at all-inclusives in the Cancun area over the years. And every time, we come home and say “That was the best part of our trip – we should stay there for our whole trip sometime!” Isla Mujeres is a […]

Saturday Snap – Matty

Sometimes patrons think we’re helping them but they don’t realise that often they’re helping us too. Always great to have moments that remind you of why libraries are so important and why you do the work that you do…

Throwback Thursday – #tbt – Snowsuit Struggles (Feb 2015)

Saturday Snap – Japanese Head Massage/Vietnamese Noodle Bowls

Shea and I decided to try the Japanese Head Massage at Salon 13 in the Northgate Mall as our Valentine’s gift to each other followed by lunch at the restaurant quality food court gem, “Hung Kitchen“. Very relaxing!  Very delicious!
