Comedy Central in the US won't allow Canadians to watch their clips so if you want to be legal, you have to watch The Comedy Network version of this clip that is viewable by Canadians…or, like everything else, you can just watch it on YouTube. Great system there, guys. Way to go!
So I'm watching the Calgary Flames game earlier tonight and that inspires me to do something I haven't done in a long time – look at the MLS listings for our old neighbourhood in Calgary. I'll admit that when we first left Calgary in 2004, I did this search on a WAY too regular basis. […]
Not sure if you've seen this or not but Canada finally has a national do-not-call registry and it's dead easy to sign up. Half watching election results and not really sure why we're having this election – is anything going to be significantly different than what we had before? Doesn't really look like it at […]

Shea's got a few photos from our Calgary trip up on Flickr if you're interested. If not, this MetaFilter thread about the new M. Night Shamaladingdong movie, “The Happening”, is pretty entertaining.
We happened to be downtown on the Sunday of the Gay Pride Parade in Calgary so spent some time at Olympic Plaza enjoying the music, the vendors and the atmosphere in general. In a completely unrelated story, Pace was later photographed wearing this hat…
I know I do a lot of “does this only happen in Saskatchewan?” posts and comments so I thought I'd pass along a recent AskMetaFilter question about “stag & does”, namely “are they only an Ontario thing or do they exist elsewhere?”And the answer is…Ontario-only and specifically SW Ontario and even more specifically rural SW […]
Well, we're back from Calgary and it was a great trip! Pace was an amazing traveler, we saw lots of friends, family and old familiar sights. In many ways, it felt like we were trying to cram three and a half years of memories from when we lived there into just under a week of […]
I couldn't think what to post about so Shea suggested I give an update from my real life. So here it is…– tonight we went for a big walk and ended up in River Park just down the hill from where we live in Weyburn. There was an In Motion celebration going on and Pace […]
Nothing says romance like going to see an awesome independent country-rock artist like Roger Marin Jr. Check him out on February 14 if you're reading this in London (or click the link to see his other dates around SW Ontario.)
