Exactly one year ago today, we were preparing for a very unusual Covid-birthday for Sasha, only a month after Covid hit. On April 16, we held a birthday without many of the things you’d normally have with the main thing we missed was a gathering of friends and maybe a table at Chuck E. Cheese or the Science Centre.
A year later, it’s hard to believe things have changed so much and so little but once again, we’re planning a party at home without an outing or any friends.
But at least vaccines have arrived and hopefully next year we can have.a giant blow-out with fireworks and lasers and, as per Sasha’s request, BTS singing “Happy Birthday”! 🙂
