This is still one of my favourite Halloween memories of all time.
When Pace was around five years old, he was really into Bat-man. He had his costume all picked out so the night before Halloween, I figured out a great way to surprise him.
I did a quick late night trip to the nearest pop-up costume shop and bought a Robin suit which I wore to work the next day. Then, when my bus was getting close to home at the end of the day, I called ahead to have Shea get Pace into his costume to come out and meet me.
