Throwback Thursday – #tbt – Grandpa Peet in Uniform (circa 1945?)

After missing the last couple years for obvious reasons, an aunt who visits us from Kelowna for a few weeks every spring is here now.

One of her hobbies is genealogy and related, she likes to scan and catalogue old photos.

She brought a thumb drive with hundreds of old family photos which means I’ll have no shortage of photos for future “Throwback Thursday” posts (and many much older than those in my personal collection which basically starts in 2006 when we got our first digital camera!)

She also brought me a print of my grandfather in uniform and I gave her some info about some of his war medals to add to her genealogy files.
