Went on our inaugural camping trip of the summer this past weekend at the beautiful Echo Lake Provincial Park.
Due to a mispronunciation when Pace was little, these fine treats will forever be known as “smorts” in our family! 😉
Until I looked at this photo when we got home, I never noticed that the fire pit had the Saskatchewan wheat sheaf logo cut into it. Er, how much beer did I drink?
(I asked Shea and she said she didn’t notice until we got home either and I guarantee she also drank less beer than I did! She actually thought I took this photo on purpose because the logo was so clear with the fire going!)
Through the beauty of Last.fm, I know that the song I heard most over the three days we were camping was “Talking Saskatoon Blues” by Tim Hus.
But since I can’t find a single performance of that song on YouTube, I’ll instead link to the song I heard the second most during the past few days since it’s on my Rdio “Camping” playlist…
“Heavy Metal Drummer” – Wilco
