Hard to believe Pace is in Grade Two already.
As will probably become an annual tradition on the first day of school, I went back and watched the video I made of his first day in Kindergarten.
I’ve always been somebody who loves taking pictures and videos and documenting things and that day, two short years ago, was a prime example – from a photo of Pace asleep in his bed that starts the clip to his “Time to go to school!” comment as he heads for the door to shots waiting at the bus stop, in his classroom and then a final video clip as he steps off the bus, it all came together in one of my favourite video montages I’ve ever made. (The fact that YouTube algorithms didn’t mute the fitting Brad Paisley song helps a lot too!)
