A pretty heart-warming video, even if I’ve been trained to be cynical enough about videos like this that at the end I thought it was probably a viral video for Coke! (Turns out it’s a charitable foundation called Love Everybody).
No, you were right to be cynical. It is, in fact, an ad for Coke: http://www.globalregina.com/viral+video/6442757058/story.html
It’s sad that we have to be so cynical but that’s the reality of the world we live in. Beyond thinking of pretty much any viral video as a potential advertisement for some company, this one seemed especially suspicious because how often would people catch “happy” moments on surveillance cameras and even if they did, who would have access to enough of these moments to stitch them together? (A montage of criminals and accidents and the like is much more believable because those are the clips that get shared after crimes and cars driving through store windows and whatnot.) Oh well…still a cute video even if fictionalized.
