Friday Fun Link – Barbershop Books at Las Vegas Public Library
Part of the “NFL Inspires Change” program that collaborated on this program which launched in the lead-up to the recent Super Bowl…
Throwback Thursday – #tbt – SGI Salvage Yard (May 2012)
Got rear-ended while parked on the street by a hit & run driver.
Music Monday – “He said ‘Son, you ever been to Vegas?’ I said ‘No’/He said ‘That’s where we’re gonna go, You need a change of pace’/And when we hit the strip with all the wedding chapels and the neon signs/He said ‘I left my wallet in El Segundo’ and proceeded to take two grand of mine/We made tracks to the Mandalay Bay hotel/Asked the bell boy if he’d take me and my monkey as well?”
Such a good song. Loved the Robbie Williams documentary on Netflix too!

Saturday Snap – That Moment When You See Your Car on Regina Rant & Rave
When I met a friend for lunch at Tim Horton’s before work on Thursday, the last thing I expected to see on social media later was a pic of my car in the parking lot!
Luckily it wasn’t a rant about my bad parking job or the excess of window stickers I have on my car (Superheroes *and* Calgary Flames – that’s gotta be illegal!) but instead, they were focused on the unique “chariot” in front that was plugged into the building (and a convenance device I’ve seen around Regina a few times.)
Friday Fun Link – The Library Gentlemen’s Club, Las Vegas
Combining two of my favourite things in one – libraries and, uh, boobs books! 😉
Throwback Thursday – #tbt – Zumanity (May 2012)
A person I grew up with in Indian Head was a couple years younger than me (she was my sister’s age) but her family and ours were friends so I hung out with her too.
She grew up to be a professional clown who performed in the New York, New York Cirque Show in Vegas, “Zumanity“.
Pretty cool!
