Music Monday – “I looked up and you were there/Just sitting there all alone/Holding your fist in the air like/If you need me you’re on your own”

The Lonely End of the Rink” – The Tragically Hip

Secular Sunday – Happy Belated Easter!

Saturday Snap – A Busy Week in the Hammond House

Sasha went to a recently opened trampoline park with a bunch of friends for her birthday…

Pace did his driver’s exam (didn’t make it but examiner said he did he really well and it was mostly mistakes due to nerves that caused him to fail which is apparently the case with 3/4 of first-time drivers according to one person I talked to at the testing centre)…

Oh, and we bought a new to use 2022 Honda Pilot which is the newest car we’ve ever owned in our lives (I’m currently driving a 2006 Ford Fusion and Shea was driving a 2013 Town and Country van but in anticipation of Pace getting his license, we thought it was time for another vehicle in the family.)

Friday Fun Link – The Unreality of Pro Wrestling

I need to do a Top 10 list of the reasons I love pro wrestling.  But this captures a whole bunch of them…

Throwback Thursday – #tbt – Birthday Books (April 2018)

From when Sasha turned five…

Wisdom Wednesday – Quoted For Truth

Happy 11th Birthday to Sasha!!!

So proud of my intelligent, creative, stylish, funny, beautiful girl.  Such a strong, empathetic, kind, original personality.

A silent highlight of our recent Vegas trip was hearing how many random strangers would comment on her sense of style which is very true!

Music Monday – “Now you do what they told ya/Now you do what they told you/Now you do what they told you”

I came across Little Miss Nasty via a poster I saw in Vegas.

Didn’t get to see their act this trip but really appreciate what they stand for and would love to see them at some point in the future.

Secular Sunday – “At the age of 16, Annelise Michel began blacking out at school…”

Saturday Snap – We Get Donations…

Always interesting to see the things people will donate to the library (some people don’t come in to talk to us, they just slip their items into the return slot overnight so we can find all sorts of surprises!)

Now, the fun library question – would you put these on your Book Sale table like we do with many unwanted but otherwise good condition donations?
