Nanoleaf Aurora Light Panels

I haven’t hidden my ongoing interest in smart devices.  One product that caught my attention were Nanoleaf light panels but even by smart device standards, they’re pretty pricey.  Fortunately, I set-up an alert on Facebook Marketplace and the other day, I found a young guy who was selling not just one but two sets which included the rhythm module (which allows the lights to “dance” to music) for half what I would’ve had to pay at Best Buy.

I was a bit nervous to buy a fairly expensive electronic product used since I couldn’t really “test” before buying – both because these panels aren’t really “plug and play” and also because Covid makes the hand-off of any private sale item a bit more accelerated.

Anyhow, I haven’t mounted them yet but set them up on a counter in our guest room the other day and *love* them (as do the kids who were fascinated by the very robust app which makes it easy to create your own patterns, scenes, motions and download others that have been created by the community.).

I’ve still got to figure out a few things/play with it some more but overall, very cool!
