I was barely able to pass Stats in library school so this article makes next to no sense to me. But the analysis sure sounds impressive! 😉
(One figure that I do know – I’d always heard that shootouts where 1/3 “score” versus 2/3 “save or miss” and after 1500+ shootouts in the NHL under the new rules, that percentage is less than a percentage point off.)
