NDP Candidate Shows "Bad Judgement" for Grope Photo in Province Where Premier is Admitted Drunk Driver

No major Meili news today in what has become an “all Meili, all the time” blog (!) so I thought I'd move down the road a bit…

A young NDP candidate in BC (who also happens to be gay) withdrew from his nomination after a photo of him holding a female's breast from his Facebook page was made public.  BC Premier Gordon Campbell (who pled guilty to charges of drunk driving in Hawaii in 2003 but luckily didn't, you know, kill anyone) said this: “They were totally inappropriate pictures and the NDP has some questions
to answer for.”

Man, what a messed up world we live in, eh?

This is why I could never run for office – I mean have you looked through my FB pics? (granted I don't have my pants down in any of them).
Thing is, I don't see anything wrong with the two photos posted on CBC. What's wrong with a guy having fun with friends?

I think society's going to have to change it's outlook on this area or NOBODY will run for office. Maybe once the boomers sort of pass into retirement and the X & Y generations are running things, pics like this and anything else connected to your digital life won't be such a big deal? Maybe.
