Obama News Round-Up

I'm following the US primaries (especially the Democratic ones) with great interest.  Here are a few Barack Obama-related stories that have caught my attention lately…

Barakoblogger is one of many Obama-focused blogs out there that's a good place to see a summary of the latest news and events.

I like him. Admittedly, I haven't been following the race very closely, not being able to vote in it. But it's a nice change to hear a message of hope instead of fear from over there* (and one that's actually getting attention.)

There's so much about this campaign that's interesting – Obama's is a message of hope yet Bill Clinton billed himself as “The Man From Hope” when he ran back in the 1990's before becoming the establishment candidate. And NOW Hillary is trying to spin that she is about “hope” too and that Obama is the Establishment candidate – right, Mrs. Former First Lady.
I don't know – Americans treat their elections like sport and I guess I do too.
(I should also slip in an admission that I've mistakenly been writing “Barak” instead of “Barack” in all these blog entries when I should've known better. Ooops!)
